Book Review for Chasing Sin by Sara Brookes

Every spring, Kate risks her life chasing violent storms. Tired of watching her take unnecessary chances, two of her closest friends offer a different thrill. Devoted lovers Snyder and Tripp don’t just share a passion for nature’s fury; they long to have the fearless woman between them.

Though she is reluctant, she also knows the proposition is too irresistible to refuse. Her acceptance leads to an explosive night of no-holes-barred sex for the threesome. However, when morning dawns, she realizes this type of unusual relationship isn’t one she belongs in.

Despite her best efforts to keep the men at arm’s length, Kate finds herself facing down the storm of the century with them at her side. With Mother Nature intruding, the trio discovers shelter in each other’s arms. With the hurricane raging outside and passion raging inside, everything is at stake.

As if the heat of summer doesn't make you sweat enough, Chasing Sin by Sara Brookes has come along to turn up the heat even more in this sexually steamy erotic menage story.  Set amidst the backdrop of the dangerous and exhilirating world of storm chasing comes this story about a long term relationship between two men and the one woman they feel will complete them.

Kate is a strong willed woman who feels alone in the world because of a childhood of neglect.  It's led to an adulthood of recklessness and feelings of being able to only rely on herself.  Too many risks and close calls have led Snyder and Tripp to intervene though.  And oh how they intervene!  One memorable night of passion has Kate running from the happiness and love Snyder and Tripp offer her for a reason both annoying, and yet well hidden from the reader.  It's not until they look death in the eye, courtesy of a deadly hurricane, that Kate decides she doesn't want to be alone anymore, but by then it might be too late.

Snyder and Tripp are a sexy couple secure in their relationship but willing to open their hearts to one more who makes their bond even stronger.  As their menage heats up, so too does the weather.  The juxtaposition between the chaos of the hurricane and their intensifying relationship makes the blood pump as you turn the pages and leads to a heart pounding conclusion after the final page is turned.  You get a deep sense of the importance of this relationship and how much better it will make things for Kate if she just accepts their love and support.

The sexual interludes in this story are many and varied, with some involving single pairings and others involving all three, so there's definitely something for everyone here.  Fans of the erotic will find much to satisfy them in Chasing Sin and will still be running on adrenalin from the intensity of such a unique relationship long after the final page is turned.

My rating for this is a B.

*I received this book from the author in exchange for my honest opinion.
